Vi Nguyen

Vi Nguyen

Vi is the research fellow for the Ardeo Education Foundation and curates research and information on why college is worth it for the vast majority of college students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and government from Claremont McKenna College where she took relevant courses such as education policy and the history of American schools.

Justin Gillmar

Justin Gillmar

Justin has served in a variety of marketing and strategic leadership roles during his career. As a first-generation college graduate, he is passionate about the life-changing impact of higher education and believes in Ardeo’s mission of making education more accessible to more students. Justin is active in his local community as a volunteer and board member for a number of organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Greenville University (IL) and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

Drew Melendres

Drew Melendres

Drew has served in administrative leadership roles both within universities and higher education businesses. Prior to coming to Ardeo, he served as the SVP of Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and Athletics at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN. Before St. Kate’s, he served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Collegis Education where the company experienced significant partner and revenue growth. Drew has built a successful career helping campuses strategically manage and grow their enrollment as a consultant with Noel-Levitz and as an enrollment management professional at medium and large public universities. Drew earned a BA from The University of Texas at Austin as well as an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Jonathan Shores, Ph. D.

Jonathan Shores, Ph. D.

Jonathan has spent over half of his life working in higher education and has experience helping institutions reach record levels of enrollment, working both with, and at, numerous colleges and universities. Prior to joining Ardeo, he worked as a Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. He is a proud graduate of Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Trust and Wealth Management and an MBA in Marketing. Jonathan went on to earn a PhD with studies focused on the most effective marketing and recruiting strategies to recruit prospective higher education students. Dr. Shores is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he still serves in a reserve component as a Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force. He has been to more than 40 countries and has deployed and/or assisted in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Joint Forge and Operation Coronet Oak.
